Asphalt Heating
POLY-ONE TANK
Using the Infern-O-Therm Combustion principal, this IOT designed two
pass oil heater is installed into the product tank. This uses all
the BTU's to heat the product. Only the transfer oil jacket and hot
oil coil come in contact with the product allowing the system to be
used with polymers or asphalt. A closed loop hot oil circulation system
is incorporated, preventing coking of the transfer oil as well as
eliminating air and moisture in the system.
Burner range from 275,000 to 900,000 BTU input.
UL approved #2 fuel oil fired burner with 90% efficiency.
Tank is fully insulated with 3" 4 LB density mineral wool with
.024 weatherproof stucco aluminum jacket, mounted on full 15"
x 33.9 lb channel skid. Portable models available.

ONE-PLUS-ONE
CK ONE-PLUS-ONE II is a closed loop hot oil heating system for installation
into a new or existing asphalt storage tank. This unit will provide
heat for other tanks, asphalt plant, pump, piping, silos, and drag
slat. This unit can be installed in both horizontal and vertical
tanks of all sizes.

OPERATING FEATURES
OPERATES ON GAS OR OIL
The One-Plus-One II operates efficiently either on gas,
propane, or No. 2 fuel oil. Conversion from one fuel to
the other is accomplished by a single switch. Special linkage
or air adjustments are not required. Changeovers can even
be done while the system is in full operation.
DIRECT TUBE HEATING
Direct tube heat transfer is the most efficient and economical
method available to heat asphalt. The One-Plus-One II
direct heating system offers both precise temperature
control and even heat distribution characteristics without
flame impingement, hot spots or product degradation.

BULK-THERM HEATED STORAGE TANK
REDUCED HEATING COSTS
The DIRECT FIRE Heating system is the most fuel effective method
to heat liquid asphalt, emulsions, or water. Our I-O-T Burner and
CLOVERLEAF SUPERCHARGER produce near 90% combustion efficiency and
ensure complete burning of the fuel. Model BT-30 (30,000 gallons)
will consume approximately 7 gallons of fuel oil per day!
UNIQUE REDESIGN REDUCES HEAT LOSS
Heat normally lost to the atmosphere from a hot oil heater is "a
problem solved" with the Infern-O-Therm System. This is because
the heating unit is incorporated into the insulated tank--so radiated
heat is contained in the system.
